I'm in a conference in La Marque, Texas (use http://maps.google.com to find out where that is), but I am thinking of you and hoping you will not be fussing too much about the "Interest Survey" assignment. We will be taking something old (you did this last year, I know) and making it new again. The assignment requires that you do NOT use any type of images, e.g. Clip Art, Word Art, photos, etc. Instead, you are to type the answers in Word, save it as YourLastName Interest, and then use Word's "Send To" function to send it to PowerPoint.
I have two reasons for asking you to do this: to allow you to have the computer create your slides for you (saving you some work) and also to see if you can follow directions :-)
Bonus Points: By Wed., Sept 6, be able to give me definitions of the following terms in your own words: blog, wiki, podcast. To earn the points, be the first to create a new thread on the TI discussion page and title it "Definitions."

In Word, write a synopsis (3-4 sentences) of the section you have read (SaveAs YourLastNameWestwood? replacing the "?" with the section number).
Put a blank line after your synopsis, and then write 2-3 sentences on whether or not you think the security issue is important, and why.
Copy/paste your synopsis/response as a new post in the TI discussion thread "Security and Privacy."
Read and comment on at least two other posts in the "Security and Privacy" discussion.

Hardware maintenance: With your machine OFF, clean the keyboard, mouse and case of your workstation. Use the Windex to clean the monitor screen, by spraying the cleaner on a soft cloth and then wiping the screen. NEVER spray cleaner directly on the screen.
